Safeguarding & Policies
Keeping young people safe isn't a box we tick — it's the foundation of everything we do. We maintain over 50 policies and procedures, and every member of our team knows them inside out.
Our commitment
Directional CIC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every young person we work with. We expect all staff, volunteers, and partners to share this commitment without exception.
We follow national and local safeguarding guidelines, train all staff regularly, and have a Designated Safeguarding Lead who oversees all concerns and referrals.
Designated Safeguarding Lead
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead can be reached at admin@directionalcic.org. Concerns are also escalated through our governance contact at governance@directionalcic.org.
How we vet our staff
Enhanced DBS checks, safer recruitment, Single Central Record, verified references. No shortcuts, no exceptions.
