How we measure what matters

We don't measure success by ticking boxes. We measure it by whether a young person is attending, engaging, progressing, and feeling better about their future.

Methodology

How we measure impact

We track a small number of things consistently, share them openly with schools and families, and use them to shape what comes next for each young person.

Attendance & engagement

We track attendance at every session and share patterns with the referring school. Engagement is recorded against agreed targets so progress is visible to the young person, family, and staff.

Behaviour & wellbeing

We monitor behaviour incidents, self-regulation, and wellbeing indicators across the placement, alongside feedback from teachers and parents — so changes show up clearly, not anecdotally.

Transition outcomes

We measure what happens after our involvement: sustained return to mainstream, completion of placement, post-16 destinations, and the practical handover plan agreed with the school.

What we share back

Schools and commissioners receive written progress reports during and at the end of each placement. Reports cover attendance, engagement, behaviour, wellbeing indicators, and a clear next-step plan — so the work we do continues after our involvement ends.

Parents and carers are kept informed throughout, with the level of detail agreed up front.
